Emil Miszk & The Sonic Syndicate “Scratches for 8 Musicians – Live at Polish Radio” (AR023) / CD

This is the third album of a young polish trumpeter and composer Emil Miszk. The title is based on the expression „from scratch”, which symbolizes new beginnings after the pandemic. The music contains elements of various genres: contemporary classical music, jazz, free impro with a slight reference to the tradition of big jazz ensembles. It’s definitely a great example of a new generation in Polish Jazz.
